Annual Congregational Meeting Information
Each year, the congregation of Hopkins Community Church gathers for a meeting to discuss the state of the church, celebrate God's work in the past year, and examine where He is leading us in the future. We will discuss and vote on things like the Board of Directors, the Statement of Faith, and our proposed budget and assess our 7-year vision.

Board of Directors
In 2024, the Board of Directors worked to establish its role as a board of accountability acting as trustees of Hopkins Community Church in its ministry. In our meeting this year, we will establish terms for the current Board of directors that will then begin a regular rotation of members on this board. The Congregation will vote to approve the slate of the Board (listed below), and then we will draw numbers for their terms of 1 to 3 years.

Statement of Faith
Several years ago, Hopkins Community Church established a Statement of Faith as part of our Bylaws. Each year, we review this document to ensure that it is up-to-date and current with the Biblically Founded beliefs of HCC, addressing topics of significant importance for our cultural moment. This year, as part of our denominational transition, it has been recommended that churches within the Alliance of Reformed Churches add a statement within our Statement of Faith linking our beliefs with those of the denomination. Though this is not a substantive change as our Statement of Faith and the Unifying Beliefs of the Alliance of Reformed Churches were already in alignment, this statement simply formalizes this. You can read the Statement of Faith below and the changes are in red.
